Pakistan: Earthquake jolts different parts of KP


The earthquake struck at a depth of 213 kilometers and its epicentre was Hindukush region in Afghanistan.

PESHAWAR: Earthquake tremors jolted several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday morning.

Tremors were felt in Peshawar, Chitral, Upper Dir and Malakand.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the earthquake was recorded at 5.3 on the Richter Scale.

No casualty and damage have been reported so far.

This is the second earth quake reported in this week. A 5.5 magnitude earthquake hit different cities of country on first day of Eid ul Fitr.
