Members of the Spen Valley branch of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) helped decorate and paint the grounds of a Birstall nursing home.
Ten members spent 2 hours on Saturday, July 8th, at Priestley Care Home tidying up the grounds and decorating and painting benches in the gardens of the Care Home.
This is the third such time the Spen Valley branch of AMYA have worked with Priestley Gardens over the last few months.
Mr Manzoor Ahmad, local coordinator of the AMYA in Spen Valley explained that service to humanity is an integral part of the faith of all Ahmadi Muslims and that they were very happy to be able to serve the elderly at the Care Home and brighten up their gardens.
Home Manager, Shelley Ellam was thankful to the volunteers who help ensure that the gardens and grounds are well maintained.
