Prominent Civic leaders will join Ahmadi Muslims to discuss 'True Islam'

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA is hosting its 69th Annual Convention known as Jalsa Salana, from July 14 to 16 at Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

The theme for this year's conference is "Justice, Kindness, and Kinship."

In a web statement, the community listed several speakers and participants including some US and state lawmakers, representatives from law enforcement agencies, and inter-faith leaders for this years's 'oldest annual Muslim conference.'

"This convention seeks to unite leaders and American Muslims in fighting against extremist ideologies and radicalization for a safer nation and world," the statement read.

"[S]peakers will discuss how to combat the growing scourge of violent extremism while also maintaining core American values, including religious freedom, dignity and inter-faith harmony."

The Community said it will 'honor the work of Lutheran Services of America and its affiliate organizations" at the convention.
