Ahmadiyya Muslim Women of Newcastle volunteered with North East Homeless team to feed homeless people.

"It was an eye-opening experience," organiser Shafia Saeed of Gateshead said.

Saeed said it was their first time but all ladies were thrilled to be part of this gracious event. "This experience humbled us all and made us all more grateful to the countless Blessings of Allah and encourage us to donate more."

“Some of the ladies went there after a long day at work but they told me that they could have continued for another two hours if they had to as they were full of energy and enthusiasm to assist mankind for the will of Allah,” she added.
