UK: Litter picking organised by the Putney branch of Ahmadiyya Muslim elders


Over a dozen volunteers including 20+ Ahmadiyya members, neighbours and councillors are expected to participate in picking litter from the resident areas.

"Cleanliness is half of your faith", said Muhammad (PBUH) - the Holy Founder of Islam. 

This is in this background that Putney branch of Ahmadiyya Muslim Men's Association (Majlis Ansarullah) UK has organised two voluntary litter picking sessions in Roehampton in the month of October.

Over a dozen volunteers including 20+ Ahmadiyya members, neighbours and councillors are expected to participate in picking litter from the resident areas.

Tea and refreshments will be provided free to all the participants.

Details of the litter picking sessions are as follows:

Session 1:

Sunday, 22nd October.
Location: Petersfield Rise Alton, SW15 4AE.
Time: 10:30am to 12:30pm.

Session 2:
Sunday, 29th October.
Location: Danbury Avenue behind Library, where buses terminate.
Time: 10:30am to 12:30pm.
