Prior to the presentation of the Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation to the Minister, Jama’at delegation briefed about Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and said that this is the only Community in Islam which has Spiritual Leadership (Khalifa) established by God and termed as ““ONE COMMUNITY – ONE LEADER’.

As the Minister showed much interest about the history of Ahmadiyyath, the delegation took this opportunity and continued to say more details about the Jama’at and the claims of Promised Messiah, peace be on him.

The delegation further pointed out the claim of Promised Messiah, peace be on him, by quoting the foretold of Sri Krishna in Bagavath Geetha and said Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, peace be on him claimed as Kaliygha Avadhar in parallel of foretold of Sri Krishna, peace be on him.

Moreover, Minister was recalled the address of Moulana Molavi Muhammad Umar H.A. (from Kerala, India) delivered in 1994 at Ramakridhna Hall Colombo. In this particular address, Moulavi Umar Sahib put forward quotations from Bagavath Geetha in Sanskrit language about the foretold and teachings of Sri Krishna on the advent of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), further explained.

It was well observed that the Minister had a thought about us having link with Saudi Arabia like other Muslims and has strong financial aid from them, that’s why these people are doing such activities in translating Qur’an. On this, Jama’at delegation explained the sacrifice being done by members of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in various aspects.
