USA: Ahmadiyya Muslims from Los Angeles Inland chapter hosted interfaith Iftar dinner


For Muslims, Ramadan is the month of fasting, prayer, and acts of charity to commemorate the revealing of the Koran, the holy book of Islam, to the prophet Muhammad.

Interfaith leaders from the Jewish, Catholic, Lutheran, and Presbyterian worship houses attended and many presented their perspective on fasting according to their own religious traditions

The Inland Empire Chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community hosted an interfaith dinner at the Baitul Hameed Mosque in Chino, California on Saturday, June 2nd.

Over 300 guests from various faiths flocked to the mosque to join the Muslims community in this Iftar festivities which mark the fasting end time at the sunset.

The guests included Chino Mayor Eunice Ulloa, Pomona Mayor Tim Sandoval.

There was a special recognition for Charleen King of Isaiah’s Rock, which provides food and clothing to the needy.


Many Interfaith leaders from the Jewish, Catholic, Lutheran, and Presbyterian worship houses attended and several presented their perspective on fasting according to their own religious traditions.
