LIVE PHONE-IN PROGRAMME ON MUSLIM TELEVISION AHMADIYYA IN BENGALI

Hadrat Khalifatul Masih V Grants Approval For a New Format in Bengali Language Programming on MTA.

Muslim Television Ahmadiyya International (MTA) has announced a new live phone-in question and answer show for the Bangali viewers.

The new format, approved by Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim community, is set to start from 29th October, 2009 and will continue for 4 (four) days; e.g. 29th, 30th, 31st October and 1st November, 2009.

Initially the programme will be broadcast in alternate 2nd month for consecutive four days. After the first phase of broadcast on the days mentioned, second phase will begin in the last week of December, 2009. The broadcast time will be in between 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. London Time (8:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. Bangladesh time) for One hour.

Besides MTA, the programme can also be seen on  www.mta.tv  and www.mtausa.tv. MTA websites are accessible directly or through links provided at AsIslam.Org.

Bengali speaking viewers may send their Questions through Telephone/Fax/email which is announced on  www.mta.tv.  A panel of Bengali speaking Ahmadi scholars will answer the questions like LIVE Phone-in Arabic and Urdu programmes already on air on MTA www.mta.tv  www.mtausa.tv
