Hollywood, Florida - USA: Ahmadiyya Muslim women's auxiliary sponsors Christmas Wishlist
Lajna Imaillah, the women’s auxiliary of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Miami Chapter is a regular volunteer at BOC. This Christmas, its members have sponsored seven items of the Christmas wish list. Young girls belonging to Nasirat-ul Ahmadiyya also pitched in towards this effort.

Lajna Imaillah sponsors Christmas Wishlist at Broward Outreach Center
Holiday fever is in the year! It is that time of the year where millions of people are engaged in gift exchanges with their loved ones. However, there are some for whom the holiday season is marked with a sense of emptiness and as they lack the resources to engage in such gift exchanges.
There are millions of people around the country who will not be able to celebrate Christmas as they lack even the basic necessities of life; they are homeless and are struggling to cope with life and the ensuing challenges of homelessness. Some find themselves at homeless shelters and centers which assist them to cope and rehabilitate.
Broward Outreach Center in Hollywood, FL is one such organization that continues to serve the local community. It is a part of the Miami Rescue Mission which has been engaged in the service of the homeless and needy in South Florida since 1992 in order to fulfill its mission of ‘Reaching out to the Least, the Last and the Lost’.
BOC tries utmost to bring smiles to the faces of its patrons and every year it ensures that they enjoy the Holiday Season and do not miss out and feel neglected during this time. The Center gives its patrons an opportunity to create a Christmas Wish List which is sponsored by its volunteers.

Sadaf Shaikh is the Vice President of Lajna Imaillah, Miami. She explains that her organization is committed to serving humanity regardless of the differences in religion, creed, race and color and BOC helps in fulfillment of its mission of spreading peace in the world.
