Hundreds of Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission members have attended their annual conference at the association’s headquarters in Wandegeya, a Kampala suburb this morning.
The three-day fellowship has attracted over 3,000 delegates from within and outside Uganda.
The chief executive and the missionary in-charge of the association in Uganda, Zahid Inayatullah says the conference will focus on Islamic teachings, sanitation, commerce and modern agricultural practices.
Experts from the ministry of finance, trade, tourism, industry, education and sports have attended the Muslim conference.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Movement was founded in 1889 by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam to spread Islam. The movement has over 200 million members from over 195 countries.
