USA: Willingboro mosque to honor 9/11 victims with blood drive

The aim of the nationwide effort is to collect 10,000 bags of blood and save 30,000 lives. Americans of all backgrounds are invited to join in and help out.

On the 10-year anniversary of 9/11, in remembrance of the lives lost on that day, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA has launched a nationwide "Muslims for Life" campaign across its 71 chapters in 50 cities across the nation.

Locally, the Willingboro, N.J., chapter is participating in the drive.

The aim of the nationwide effort is to collect 10,000 bags of blood and save 30,000 lives. Americans of all backgrounds are invited to join in and help out.

Here's what you need to know:

When: Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 10 and 11, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Willingboro Chapter; Al Nasr Mosque 500 Bridge Street, Willingboro, N.J. 08046
