USA: Ahmadi Muslims invite public to Ramdhan festivities
The local organization has many activities planned in conjunction with the observance including gatherings at sunset to break their daily fast as part of the lftar dinner service.

The New Orleans chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA invites the public to join in Ramadan festivities. Ramadan is July 10 through Aug. 8.
Ramadan, the holiest month in the Islamic calendar, is a month of fasting and spiritual renewal for Muslims worldwide. It is a time to reflect, repent and become spiritually pure which leads to societal peace and to increase charity and service to the poor.
The local organization has many activities planned in conjunction with the observance including gatherings at sunset to break their daily fast as part of the lftar dinner service.
Call Mobashir Ahmed at 504.352.1444 for information on Ramadan festivities. The local chapter is located at 3817 Colorado Ave., Kenner.
