“Violence is not the way for a true Muslim to claim his rights, the message of peace of Islam must be spread around the world against terrorism”- Hadhrat Mirza Marsoor Ahmad
The spiritual leader of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim community Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (may Allah help him) said that aggression and terrorism can never bring victory to Islam. Rather the teachings of Islam should be introduced with love, affection and reasoning, and only in this way Islam can be victorious. In Bangladesh also I am getting the sad news of bus passengers being burned in order to claim rights- this can never be an act of a true Muslim. He said this in his concluding address on the occasion of the 91st Annual Jalsa of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Bangladesh. His address was translated in several languages and broadcasted globally by Muslim Television Ahmadiyya (MTA) from Baitul Futuh Mosque, London on the 8th February afternoon.
Hadhrat Mirza Masroor said that there are unrests in many countries around the world today. This is mainly due to the emergence of religious militancy. He said that especially because of the terrorist activities conducted by some Muslim groups in the name of Islam, not only the non-Muslims, but also numerous innocent Muslim men, women and children are being tortured and murdered. His Holiness said that due to these anti-Islamic activities the peace in various places are interrupted and also on the other hand anti-Islamic sentiment is increasing in the world and especially in the western world day by day. Taking this opportunity some people either intentionally or ignorantly are attempting to disgrace or dishonor the Holy Prophet (pbuh) of Islam and the Holy Quran. He said that those who want to establish Islam in the world by means of terrorism and force, they are basically tarnishing Islam’s image.
Hadhrat Ahmad said that weapons are not used to attack Islam in the world today; rather it is done by media and publicity. So it must be dealt in the similar manner. He invited his followers to establish the peaceful teachings of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) in their lives and highlight it to the whole world.
He expressed with grief that the Muslim countries are hostage to internal conflict and terrorism. Because of the difference among each other they are now weak and dependent on the western world. He showed concerns regarding the present situation of Bangladesh and said that hurting innocent people especially killing them by burning is extremely sad and shameful and it is also an act against the teachings of Islam. He said that Islam instructs us to fulfill the rights towards the Creator and His creations. He prayed to Allah for the return of peace and stability in Bangladesh. Also he called out to the members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community living worldwide to work and pray for the welfare of their respective countries. After a near hour of addressing he prayed for the welfare of people and for the establishment of peace in Bangladesh, in the Muslim world and overall in the whole world. Everyone present in the Jalsa and millions of Ahmadi Muslims in front of the television around the world raised their hands along with him.
Even in the predominate adverse political situation over four thousand people from all around the country and around thirty-five hundred people in the London studio attended this conference. Also the complete program of three days was observed through web streaming. Representatives from India, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, the United States and the middle-eastern countries participated in this conference.
