The Silicon Valley chapter of the Women's Auxillary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is organizing a seminar entitled, "My Spiritual Journey: A Pathway to Peace" with the support of the Office of County Supervisor Dave Cortese.
This 'ladies only' event is planned for Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM (PST) at Santa Clara County Government Center in San Jose, CA.
The organizers hope to showcase the powerful stories of extraordinary women and the paths they take to define spirituality and serve a higher purpose.
The key speakers for the event are: Jackie Copeland-Carson, Chief Program and Operations Officer for Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County; Reverend Sylvia Karuna Lunt, Executive Minister and Senior Kriya Teacher at the Center for Spiritual Enlightenment; and Saliha Malik, National President of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is a dynamic, reformist and fast growing international movement within Islam. Founded in 1889, the Community spans over 206 countries with membership exceeding 160 millions.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, established in 1921, is the first American-Muslim organization.
