Bay Point, USA: Reformist Ahmadi Muslims host month of open houses


The community believes that God sent Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835-1908) to end religious wars, condemn bloodshed and reinstitute morality, justice and peace.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, in an effort to bring inter-communal harmony, will host open houses for a month, which began on Monday.

During the daily 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. open houses, the group will distribute of literature and answer questions at the Bay Point Mosque and Library at 2780 Willow Pass Road Bay Point.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Communit is a dynamic, reformist and fast-growing international movement within Islam. Founded in 1889, the community spans 206 countries with membership exceeding 160 million. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, established in 1920, is among the first American-Muslim organizations.
