Desoto, MO: The St. Louis chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association, an auxiliary wing of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community will be holding a Holy Quran exhibition on Saturday, March 12th from 10 am to 2 pm at the Desoto Community Center located at 400 Boyd St, Desoto MO, 63020.
The purpose of this exhibition is to provide local residents with an introduction to Islam and identify commonalities between Islam and the other major religions of the world. The goal is to help educate and dispel common myths and misunderstandings about Islam.
Those who attend will be able to ask any questions they may have about Muslims and Islam, including but not limited to:
- What is Islam?
- What is the Holy Quran?
- What is the status of women and their rights in Islam?
- What are the prophecies of the Holy Quran?
These exhibitions are part of a 2016 national effort taking place in over 60 towns across the United States.
