Germany: Ahmadiyya Charity Walk in Leimen donates 1,500 € to local kindergartens
The Ahmadiyya community decided to donate most of the proceeds to the local kindergartens "Probsterwald", "Nikolaus-Lenau-Haus" and "Pestalozzi".

As part of their social commitment and as a contribution to social integration, the Ahmadiyya community of Heidelberg in cooperation with Lord Mayor Hans D. Reinwald and the City Council Leimen organized the 1st Ahmadiyya Charity Walk on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at the Waldstadion in Leimen-St.Ilgen.
The charity event was attended by 80 participants, including young and old people. The participants, who were between 3 and 83 years old, made it possible to raise 2000 €.
The Ahmadiyya community decided to donate most of the proceeds to the local kindergartens "Probsterwald", "Nikolaus-Lenau-Haus" and "Pestalozzi". A small portion will be donated to the international aid organization "Humanity First".
Lord Mayor Hans D. Reinwald presented the trophies to the winners of the run and then gave a speech. He praised the Ahmadiyya community for this successful charity walk in Leimen and his approach was: "The charity walk is a sign of integration, a further step in promoting low-threshold understanding and enabling all running enthusiasts and spectators to meet each other."
