The 86th Jalsa Salana (Annual Convention) of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Bangladesh is underway in Dhaka since Friday, February 5, 2010.
According the information released by the community, the Head of the Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad will deliver the concluding Address of the Jalsa Salana LIVE from the Fazl Mosque, London at 10:00 GMT on February 7th, 2010.
The three day event commenced with the Friday prayers yesterday and the inaugural ceremonies took place ammedeately there after.
The event received representatives from several international destinations such as Rabwah, UK, USA, and India, among others.
A special session, participated by distinguished dignitaries and non-community guests took place on Saturday, February 6th afternoon where a Bosnian Ahmadi Muslim spoke to highlight ‘The Contribution of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at towards distressed Bosnian Muslims during the Crisis.’
In the final session on Sunday Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih, V will deliver the concluding Address. Hadhrat Ahmad, who resides in London, will deliver his address at 08:00 GNT via a live satellite video hook-up and the proceedings will be broadcast live by Muslim Television Ahmadiyya International for the worldwide audience in 193 countries.
The proceedings of the Annual Convention of Bangladesh are being webcast live through www.ahmadiyyabangla.org, which is serving as a web based video streaming arm of the Muslim Telivision Ahmadiyya International for the event.
Anyone wishing to participate may request an invitation irrespective of his or her religion, nationality or ethnicity.
