LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday said that in order to protect the nation from extremism its youth should educate themselves. While addressing to convocation of the Home Economics Collage in Lahore, he said that the true picture of Islam was not being portrayed properly and that the students should come forward and change the mindset. Sharif said that the IMF and World Bank always imposed conditions while giving aid whereas Islamic countries had never forced conditions. He hoped that after the establishment of the Punjab Youth Council, the students could play a positive role for the betterment of the country.—Dawn News
