An Ahmadiyya mosque was shot at in Lahore, Pakistan, several news outlets reported.

The gunfire was initiated at Mughalpura, Gunj Bazar mosque by unknown gunmen who escaped.

Several sources, from Twitter, Facebook, SMS and emails, reported the news quickly to Ahmadiyya Times newsroom. However the good news of no causalities and no damage also followed immediately.

The scene of incident that took place in mid-evening hours appeared chaotic on the news footage. However, no causalities or serious damage were shown.

Some wondered if the ruckus was created by youngsters celebrating late Eid.
