UGANDANS have been urged to pray for the stability of the country and for peaceful 2011 general elections.
Zahid Inayatullah, the head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association in Uganda, yesterday made the call during Iddi Aduha prayers at the association’s mosque in Wandegeya, a Kampala suburb.
He also appealed to Muslims to sponsor the education of needy students in order to receive blessings from God.
Inayatullah asked parents to love orphans as if they were their own children.
He advised parents to dedicate their children to Allah and teach them Islamic teachings.
Inayatullah called on Muslims to pray for those who are in prison and those who have been persecuted for their faith worldwide.
