Faith and Practice: Recognition of the Creator is Required for World Peace

Abu Hurairah narrated that Allah’s Messenger said: “In the last third of every night our Rabb (Creator) descends to the lowermost heaven and says: “Who is calling Me, so that I ma answer him? Who is asking Me so that I may grant him? Who is seeking forgiveness from Me so that I may forgive him?” (Sahih Al Bukhari)

There is a wonderful magazine called Review of Religions. The most recent edition states that the “Recognition of the Creator is Required for World Peace.”

The Holy Prophet prophesied that the Promised Messiah would be raised near a white minaret, east of Damascus.

Who can know where this white minaret stands unless this prophecy has been fulfilled?

It was fulfilled with the advent of the Promised Messiah of Qadian, Indian, a city directly east of Damascus. The Promised Messiah (1835-1905) initiated The Review of Religions.

According to Hinduism, the Creator is described by Mundak in the Upanishad as “The eye cannot see him, nor words reveal him; by the senses, austerity, or works he is not known. When the mind is cleansed by the grace of wisdom, he is seen by contemplation—the One without parts.” (3.1.8)

Mundak indicates that contemplation and cleansing are the two possible ways to learn of the presence of the Unseen One.

But the coming of the Promised Messiah is necessary for us so that we can take the straight path to the God to create a personal relationship with Him.

The Promised Messiah advises us “When a person is overcome to this degree by his love of God, all his passions are burnt up by the fire of love and a great revolution takes place in his nature and he is bestowed a heart that he did not possess before, and he is so much affected by certainty that he begins to see God in this very world.”

If we already love God, this is indeed a great achievement.

The Quran challenges you, the reader, with humor: “Oh men, a similitude is set forth, so listen to it. Surely, those on whom you call instead of Allah cannot create even a fly, though they combine together for the purpose. And if the fly should snatch away anything from them, they cannot recover it there from. Weak indeed are both the seeker and the sought. They esteem not Allah with the estimation which is His due. Surely, Allah is powerful, Mighty.” (22:74-75)

How should we reach that love, if we are not there yet?

Abu Hurairah narrated that Allah’s Messenger said: “In the last third of every night our Rabb (Creator) descends to the lowermost heaven and says: “Who is calling Me, so that I ma answer him? Who is asking Me so that I may grant him? Who is seeking forgiveness from Me so that I may forgive him?” (Sahih Al Bukhari)

If this call to humility seems beyond you, you might be interested in the May 23rd sermon by Caliphatul Masih the fifth on how to get your prayers answered. Many people are in need of jobs or need healing physically or spiritually. It is this author’s belief that there is no stage of life that does not require prayer. But everyone wonders at times why their prayers don’t seem to be answered. This sermon very aptly answers all your questions. Go to www.mta.tv or www.alislam.org

The fifth caliph warns us all in his May 29th sermon that the calamities have overwhelmed the world. It is evident that they are increasing. One country becomes a sign for all the others. Is there any better reason to contemplate the assertion that the world needs to wake up to the presence of the Promised Messiah?

The intention of the Review of Religions is to discuss the best qualities of all religions. If you would like to read more about the Review of Religions magazine, please visit: www.ReviewofReligions.org
