USA: Ahmadiyya Muslims to discuss Quran teachings

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has translated the Holy Qur'an into 70 languages of the world and have established their missions in 190 countries.

Leaders from the Buffalo chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community will discuss teachings of the Quran on topics such as sharia law, jihad, women and non-Muslims during a session Sunday in the Millennium Hotel, 2040 Walden Ave., Cheektowaga.

Speakers include Waseem Sayed, Zia Shah, Imam Yahya Luqman and Nasir Khan.

The session will run from 2 to5 p. m.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, founded in 1889, is a dynamic, fast-growing international reformist movement within Islam. It spans nearly 200 countries with membership in the tens of millions.
