USA: Wilkinsburg Ahmadiyya Muslim group sets blood drive

The Pittsburgh chapter will host a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 4 at the Al Nur Mosque, 747 South Ave., Wilkinsburg.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA has started a nationwide "Muslims for Life" campaign to donate 10,000 bags of blood in remembrance of the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001.

The Pittsburgh chapter will host a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 4 at the Al Nur Mosque, 747 South Ave., Wilkinsburg.

For those who cannot attend, anyone wishing to donate at any Central Blood Bank location can mention that they are doing so in support of the "Muslims for Life" campaign, group code G057.
