Humanity First USA: Gift of Sight Program Director runs to raise funds for 2012 mission

Dr Khan will be running the Southern California Half Marathon in Irvine on January 7, 2012 to raise money and awareness for the Gift of Sight project of Humanity First USA.

Dr Ahsan Khan is an ophthalmologist and Director of the Gift of Sight program for Humanity First USA and his mission is to provide volunteer eye care to those in need, throughout the world.

Under Dr. Khan's leadership Gift of Sight mission has just returned from their 2nd successful eye camp in Guatemala.

The first mission was also held in Guatemala in 2010.

Hundreds of patients were treated and Dr. Khan and his team performed sight-restoring cataract surgeries.

Now, Dr. Khan will be running the Southern California Half Marathon in Irvine on January 7, 2012 to raise money and awareness for the Gift of Sight project of Humanity First USA. [click here to donate]


The mission planing is already underway for a return trip in 2012.
