An Ahmadi Muslim doctor is abducted by unknown kidnappers in punjab, a news website, Al Ufaq reports.

According to the early reports, the kidnapping victim is identified as a medical professional from Punjab.

The victim was abducted when he was reportedly travelling from Punjab to Azad Kashmir.

Further according to the report, the victim had recently returned after completing his education.

Previously another prominent Ahamdi doctor and his son from Kotli were also abducted for ransom and released after long and hard struggle.

Ahmadis, due to their government-sponsored persecution, are an easy target by Pakistan’s extremist groups for kidnappings and murders and police rarely show quick interest in pursuing suspects.

Very recently Punjab government has actively participated in demolition and/or defacing of several Ahmadiyya mosques at the behest of extremist clerics in Pakistan.
