Qadian, India: International conference of Ahmadiyya Muslims gets underway


Maulana Ghori told the gathering "the primary purpose of this convention is to enable every sincere individual to personally experience religious benefits."

The three-day international conference of the Ahmadiyya Muslims, aimed at strengthening fraternal ties within the community, began near here today.

Nearly 5,800 delegates from Pakistan are attending the 121st international conference at Qadian towm, headquarters of the Ahamdiyya Muslims.

Maulana Mohammad Inam Ghori, Chief Secretary of the Sadr Anjuman Ahmadiyya Qadian, hoisted the Ahmadiyya flag.

Maulana Ghori told the gathering "the primary purpose of this convention is to enable every sincere individual to personally experience religious benefits."

The congregation is also aimed at strengthening fraternal ties within the community, he said.
