Timergara—The central vice chief of the Jamaat-i-Islami and party nominated candidate for PK-95 Sirajul Haq has said that establishment of ‘khilafat rule’ and bringing out Pakistan from American influence was party agenda for the upcoming general election. He was addressing a big gathering at the end of a motor car and motor cycle rally organized by the JI, Dir Lower chapter, here on Sunday. More than 3000 party workers took part in the event despite heavy rains in the area.

Earlier participants of the rally carrying party flags and riding motor cycles and cars marched on different roads in Jandol. Mr Sirajul Haq and former MNA Maulana Asadullah led the rallies. The rallies passed on Timergara bypass road at Balambat and Timergara.

Addressing party workers Siraj blamed the Awami National Party and Pakistan People’s Party for plundering billion of rupees during the last five years. He said all ministers and lawmakers of the outgoing government would be made accountable if the JI came in powers. “We are committed to provide health, education, clean drinking water and job opportunities to people once we got powers,” Haq said and accused the ANP led provincial government for current lawlessness, unemployment, corruption and promotion vulgarity. He said the rulers had turned the country into a colony of America.

“We are aware of the fact that former ANP and PPP lawmakers have dumped power generators, transformers, electricity poles, plastic pipes and cement bags in their houses and hujras which are being distributed in voters,” he blamed and added that violators would have to face actions in near future for that. The JI leader said the ANP had destroyed houses and developed graveyards in Pukhtun belt by following the US policies during the last five years. He said that despite tall claims the ANP and PPP failed to deliver. “The ANP left the Chakdara Timergara road like ruins and Chakdara Bridge incomplete,” he said, adding the JI would solve all problems if elected to govern.

He demanded of the caretaker chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to select a short and impartial cabinet. “There is no need of ministers’ platoon for just two months,” the JI leader said and announced that they would remove all barricades on roads leading to governor house and CM house at Peshawar. The JI nominated candidate for NA 34 Sahibzada Yaqub Khan, for PK 94 Muzafar Syed, for PK 96 Saeed Gul, district amir Maulana Asadullah, Shabab e Milli Nawab Bacha and other also spoke on the occasion.
