The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, GA Chapter organized an event to educate the public about the true teachings and life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) on March 16th at the Bait-ul-Baqi mosque in Norcross.
The event started with a warm welcome by the GA Chapter President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazeem Pudhiapura. Following this, a video was shown introducing the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the only Islamic organization to believe that the long-awaited Messiah has come.
Mr. Mahmood Ahmad, a member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community gave a brief speech on the life of Muhammad (PBUH). Ahmad mentioned several examples from Muhammad’s (PBUH) life demonstrating his peaceful acts and bravery to overcome all difficulties that came during his life.

After Ahmad’s speech, there was a presentation about the non-profit global sister organization of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Humanity First, which aims to relieve suffering caused by natural disaster and human conflict. Also, information about the National Annual “Muslims for Life” Blood Drive held by the Ahmaddiya Muslim Community was mentioned. There was a poster exhibition demonstrating Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) life and teachings. Following the presentations, there was a question and answer panel to provide guests with an opportunity to ask questions about Muhammad (PBUH) and about the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

Some of the guests included the Democratic Party Cobb County Chairperson Ms. Melissa Pike, Atlanta Gurdawara representative Mr. Gogi Basi, a group of six members from the North Decatur United Methodist Church, Ms. Suzanne Sen from ‘Khabar’ Magazine and college students.

This event was [part of] a nationwide “Muhammad – Messenger of Peace” campaign in which all 73 chapters of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community U.S.A. are taking part. This campaign was started to educate people about the true character of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), in response to the numerous disgracing actions taken against Muhammad’s (PBUH) character.
