The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, Nigeria, hold its 2nd Northern region Jalsa Tarbiyyat conference on moral training, from today till Sunday 14th April, 2013, at the Abuja Central Mosque of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat (AMJ), Nigeria, at Plot 579, Independence Avenue (behind Honda Place), Central Area, Abuja.
The theme of this year’s conference is, “The Attainment of National Peace & Security Through Islam”.
The Amir of the AMJ, Nigeria, Dr. Mashood A. Fashola will deliver the keynote address on the conference theme. According to Dr. Yaqeen Habeeb, Naib Amir North, the conference is part of the Jamaat’s effort at educating her members on Islam’s perspective on the contemporary challenges of our time, particularly, the security situation in the country.
It also provides the Jamaat the opportunity to educate members as well as other Muslims on their rights and obligations to their Creator (Allah) and responsibilities to humanity and society at large, in addition to promoting the spirit of friendship, good neighbourliness as well as spiritual and moral rejuvenation.
The Jamaat humbly invites Nigerians to participate in the conference with a view to benefiting from the wealth of experience and knowledge of speakers that have been carefully selected to present papers at the conference. Participants are expected from all branches of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat throughout Nigeria, especially those in the northern region.
