Star of the Empress, a book by the founder the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, is launched at London Book Fair 15-17 April 2013.
A gift of a book to Queen Victoria (Tohfa-e-Qaisariyyah) by the world head of an Islamic movement provides the basis of Star of the Empress (Sitara-e-Qaisariyyah).
In it, Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, addressed two issues that persist to this day – Jihad and Jesus.
The book discusses the true Islamic interpretation of Jihad, one that is far removed from the modern day terrorism with which it is now associated. It also provides a religious interpretation of the fate that befell Jesus after crucifixion and puts forward the rationale that Jesus –along with everyone else who has ever lived– in fact died a mortal death.
