An Ahmadiyah mosque in Babakan Sindang hamlet, Tasikmalaya, was vandalized on Sunday morning.

Asep Rahmat, one of witnesses of the incident, said that dozens of people on motorcycles stormed the mosque and threw rocks at it.

The angry mob also cut off electricity and threw rocks at nearby homes.

“I did not recognize any of the men. It was pitch black and all of a sudden they set fire to the mosque,” Asep said as quoted by kompas.com.

He said there were no casualties and that the police were still investigating the incident.

Not long before this incident, an angry mob also set fire to an Ahmadiyah mosque in Tasikmalaya.
