Sri Lanka Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Forum (The Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya) organized a Blood Drive programme on Sunday – 9th June 2013 at Fazl Mosque – 28, Jumma Masjid Mawatha, Periyamulla, Negombo.
The programme started at 9.00 am and ended at 3.00 p.m. and was inaugurated by the National President, Sri Lanka Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at A.H. Nasir Ahmad with silent prayers.
This program is organized to mark the Platinum Jubilee of the formation of World-wide Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Forum and also to mark the 105th Anniversary of Ahmadiyya Khilafat.
The World-wide Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Forum was established in 4 February 1938 by the Second Khalifa of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmood Ahmad.
The basic aims of this organization are as below:-
1. This is an organization for the youth of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (between the age of 15 to 40).
2. To infuse a spirit of patriotism and sacrifice in the youth of the Community.
3. To spread the message of Islam.
4. To inculcate in the youth a habit of working.
