A delegation from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (AMC) of Guatemala met with Minister of Health, Dr. Jorge Alejandro Villavicencio on Monday, December 15, 2013.
The Ahmadiyya delegation included, Maulana Naseem Mahdi, National Vice President, AMC-USA; Maulana Abdus Sattar Khan, National President, AMC-Guatemala; David Gonzalez, Dr. Otto Robert Cabrera and Dr Waseem A Sayed.
This meeting lasted some 20 minutes.
During the meeting, the Minister informed the delegates that he has kept up with the public services projects organized by the AMC and its affiliates.
Maulana Naseem Mahdi thanked the Minister for his valuable time and for his cooperation in accommodating the community's need for carrying out its public service projects.
Maulana Mahdi informed the minister about all the social services works being done currently and in the last three years by Humanity First in Guatemala.
Minister was informed that the community and its affiliates carry out all their activities on basis of its volunteers and donations.
Maulana Mahdi said that the project are completed in phases starting with the minimum needed to carry out the essence of its missions and then expanding their scope with discipline.
The Minister appreciated the detailed information and assured Maulana Mahdi his cooperation in the future as well.
