Pakistan should abolish life imprisonment and award only death penalty on those who commit blasphemy, 150 Sunni clerics have demanded.

In a letter to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif the clerics, including Pakistan Sunni Tehrik head Sarwat Ejaz Qadri, have requested him to abolish life imprisonment under the blasphemy clause of Pakistan Penal Code.
