Ahmadi Muslim distributed Cheese for Smile at St.Wilfrid's Center in Sheffield for the festive season
On Friday, December 20th, members from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) of Sheffield branch donated food item to St.Wilfrid's Center for helping homeless, and socially isolated members of the community.
The organizers visited the St. Wilfrid's Centre in Sheffield that helps the socially isolated members of the local areas including those with learning difficulties, mental health disorders, or those recovering from drug addictions.
The youth association says their members live by the motto, 'Love for all, hatred for none,' and appreciate the difficult lives some of these individuals have. "Our aim is to provide assistance and contribute positively to the society we live in."
"To help the needy and vulnerable of the society is a part of our faith," the association further said.
"We are extremely thankful for the warm welcome extended to us by the staff at St. Wilfrid's," said Shahzad Ahmad Athar, Local President, Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association of Sheffield. "They do an incredible service by assisting the vulnerable and we hope that this small contribution from our side would assist them in their endeavors."
