UK: Sheffield's Ahmadi Muslim youth out again collecting for Typhoon Haiyan appeal
The Humanity First team is on ground on Panay Island in the Philippines providing urgent relief supplies, medical assistance and food and water.

Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) were out again in Sheffield town centre on Sunday December 1, collecting charity for the millions affected by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
The collected funds will be distributed to‘Humanity First’, a UK Registered charity, already working in the Philippines for the relief efforts.
The immense scale of devastation has left 10,000 deaths, displacement of 650,000 people and many thousands are injured.
The Humanity First team is on ground on Panay Island in the Philippines providing urgent relief supplies, medical assistance and food and water.
Recently 600 survival boxes have been supplied and water supply has been setup for 20,000 people.
All funds generated from this collection will go towards relief efforts by Humanity First.

The local president of the AMYA of Sheffield, Shahzad Ahmed Athar, said the response was very encouraging and people donated generously. “We are thankful to the people who have donated for the victims of the typhoon in Philippines."
