The President of Fiji Ratu Epeli Nailatikau has acknowledged the contribution of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at Association to the country.
During his keynote address of the Prophet Muhammad's Celebration in Samabula, Ratu Epeli said the hard work of the members has seen them over the years establish several primary and secondary schools in the country.
Ratu Epeli said their members have also established well respected businesses that are making their fare share of contribution towards Fiji's development.
The President said in all of these relations, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Fiji and its members can take great pride in having contributed meaningfully and significantly towards Fiji's overall development over the years.

Ratu Epeli said religious organisations need to emphasize moral education and commitment to families, the community and the nation.
Ratu Epeli added that people need to promote mutual respect, tolerance, goodwill, compassion, care, peace and equal prosperity.
