A peace leaflets distribution drive was organized by Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Chandigarh at the country's famous Sukhna Lake.

Sukhna Lake is an artificial lake at the foothills of the Himalayas, the Shivalik hills in Chandigarh, India*.

Seven members of Ahmadiyya Muslim youth wing, Majlis Khuddam-ul Ahmadiyya, were gathered and offered mid-afternoon prayer of Asar first and proceeded to Sukhna Lake with peace leaflets.

The volunteers were joined by Chandigarh's Ahmadiyya Muslim Missionary-in-Charge Samiur Rehman.

Sukhna Lake is a famous tourist attraction of the country where thousands come daily to visit the lake.

This 3 kilometers-square lake was created in 1958 by damming the Sukhna Choe, a seasonal rain-stream coming down from the Shivalik Hills*.
