Members of a Keighley Muslim community visited a care home.

Women from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association chatted with residents of Norwood House in Greenthwaite Close.

Jennifer Smouse, the manager of Norwood House, said the ladies took along gifts and sweets for the residents just before Christmas.

She said: “It was a very good gesture and shows all communities can live in peace and harmony respecting each other.

“Our residents were very pleased to see them and exchanged Christmas and New Year greetings.”
