MUNCIE — The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is hosting a conference today to respond to allegations against what it calls “history’s most peace-loving person, Prophet Muhammad.”

The event runs from 6 p.m to 7:30 p.m. today (03/26/2014) at Ball State University’s Arts & Journalism Building, room 175.

This event is an opportunity for people of all backgrounds to learn about Muhammad from practicing American Muslims.

Over the past several years, Muhammad’s character has been maligned on numerous occasions, including a hateful video.

This event provides an educational and civil response, demonstrates why more than 1 billion Muslims revere P Muhammad, and serves to build bridges of understanding.
