The Indonesian Ulema Council’s (MUI) Bogor Regency chapter has announced the dismissal of one of its caretakers, identified only as SS, over his alleged involvement in a sex tape that went viral on Internet.

“The MUI has decided to dismiss SS and is holding him responsible his deeds,” MUI Bogor regency chief Ahmad Mukri Adji said on Thursday as quoted by tempo.co.

He said that SS’ membership in the MUI had also been revoked.

He added that SS had once led the foreign affairs commission of the Bogor regency MUI.

The dismissal comes on the back of the surfacing of a sex tape allegedly involving SS and two women.(dic)
