USA: Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Dallas holds interfaith conference at UTD


This campaign is a rebuke to terrorists and anti-Islam personalities alike, and is designed to build bridges of education.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Dallas held a conference at the University of Texas at Dallas on March 6 centered around the topic of the conference was "Muhammad - Messenger of Peace." The event was part of the nationwide campaign organized by Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA to respond to allegations against Prophet Muhammad and to highlight his life and character. This campaign is a rebuke to terrorists and anti-Islam personalities alike, and is designed to build bridges of education.

Suhail Kausar, president of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Dallas, highlighted various aspects from the life of Prophet Muhammad. The program also included video presentations introducing Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and Humanity First, a nonprofit organization providing disaster relief around the world.

Guests at the event included Imam Zafarullah Hanjra, regional missionary Houston for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community; Joseph Bishop-Greene, communications director for U.S. Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson; Pastor Corey Toney, New Leaf Family Church Dallas' “Doc” Judie Arkow, founder of Interfaith Coffeehouse; Qaisar Abbas, president South Asia Democracy Watch; Basheer Ahmed, president Institute Of Quranic Knowledge and Intrafaith Religious Acceptance; and Shah Siddiqui, bureau chief for the Urdu Times newspaper.
