USA: National Muslim leader to speak at The University of Dayton


Registration begins at 5:45 p.m., but the event will be held 6 to 8 p.m. in room 104 of the Humanities Building in Sears Recital Hall.

Dayton — Hassan Hakeem, national representative of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community will be the guest speaker at Tuesday’s Muhammad Messenger of Peace event at The University of Dayton.

The free event is hosted by the Dayton Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, according to at Dr. Abdul Shahid, event coordinator. Registration begins at 5:45 p.m., but the event will be held 6 to 8 p.m. in room 104 of the Humanities Building in Sears Recital Hall.

Attendees are asked to park in Lots P and C.

Shahid said the purpose of the April 8 event was to “present a true reflection of the founder of Islam Prophet Muhammad,” remove misconceptions about Islam and to discuss the worldwide roll of the AMC.
