Perspective: No place for bigotry in Canada | Perspective
Trying to run a company that only hires Norse people in Canada is not only extremely difficult, but rather against what Canada is known for in the international community.

I am extremely dismayed at the behaviour of Amaruk Corp. against an innocent woman.
People cannot be blamed and wronged due to what some others in their culture, religion, race or country have committed in the past or otherwise. It would have been better for the company to advertise themselves as “exclusively Norse” so as to not hurt people after they apply.
Trying to run a company that only hires Norse people in Canada is not only extremely difficult, but rather against what Canada is known for in the international community. Canada stands for values like “Love for all, hatred for none” and endorses tolerance.
As far as faith, tradition and culture is concerned, Ahmadi Muslim leader’s words are a good example “despite severe persecution, our reply should not be violence and hate.” Canada is the home ground of the future, a multicultural society that embraces the present and does not hold onto the mistakes of the past.
May Bethany Paquette find an even better job.
