Kasur, Punjab: November 4, 2014. (PCP) A pregnant Christian woman named Shama Bibi and her husband named Shahzad Masih were burnt alive in Brick Kiln by a Muslim mob on allegations of blasphemy at 7; 00 Am here today.

Shahzad Masih aged 36 along with his wife and four children was working as brick kiln workers for living in Chack number 59, near Kot RadaKishan, in Kasur district of Punjab province of Pakistan after migrating from his native village.

On early morning of November 4, 2014, the mosque loudspeakers of five surrounding villages were used to call Muslim to gather and teach lesson to blasphemer Christian couple who were alleged of burning pages of Quran by one Brick kiln factory Muslim employee.

The Muslim mob tortured Shahzad Masih and his wife Shama Bibi and threw them on looming flames of Brick Kiln factory until they burnt alive.

When Christian couple was burning and crying of innocence, the Muslim mob was shouting “Allah hu Akbar” “death to blasphemer” “kill infidel Christians” on which Christian residents of five villages near Chack Number 59, fled away from their homes to safe life.

According to information, police reached on scene from nearby Police Check Post but turned their eyes and made no attempt to safe Christian couple from burning alive.

Brick Kiln factory owner Yousaf Gujjar and his manager instigated Muslims of nearby villages to punish Shahzad Masih and his wife Shama Bibi after their Muslim employee on complain of burning of pages of Quran.

Till filing this incident story, police have rounded up 40 Muslims but still no FIR has been registered in Police station.

When PCP correspondent called Saddar Manga Road Police Station Kasur about registration of FIR of murder of Shahzad Masih and Shama Bibi against Muslim culprits, no response was made.

Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC, in a statement has said that blasphemy laws are license to kill Christians in Pakistan by hands of Muslims.

“There are blasphemy cases registered in more than dozen of Police Stations while courts have ordered to arrest one Muslim media house boss and other Muslim artists of one TV Chanel but they are enjoying police escort and attending meetings and no one dares to arrest them but on false allegation of blasphemy police puts Christians behind bars and courts are awarding them death sentences which indicates that blasphemy laws are only legislated to target religious minorities in Pakistan” added PCC Chief

Nazir Bhatti said that it is shameful that a Muslim Syed Khurshid Shah, leader of opposition in National Assembly of Pakistan is alleged of blasphemy but he is walking free on streets of Pakistan while his Pakistan Peoples Party PPP leaders are accusing complainants that religion is being used to punish Khurshid Shah but when Islam is used against Christians and Ahmaddiyia community members all these Muslim political leaders seal their lips.

Dr. Nazir Bhatti urged Christians selected by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz group PML (N) in Punjab Assembly and National Assembly of Pakistan to raise voice against blasphemy laws in parliament that poor Christians may be not targeted on pretext to blasphemy.

Incidents of violence against Christian and Ahmaddiyia community have risen up to 200% after becoming PML (N) in power in Punjab province.

Dr. Nazir S Bhatti have demanded immediate arrest of culprits involved in burning alive Shahzad Masih and Shama Bibbi to ensure justice.
