Re: Slaughtered by the Taliban, Dec. 17

The Peshawar school attack by the Taliban has had a devastating effect. Families have been robbed of their children, society robbed of its peace and a generation robbed of their future. And a faith has been hijacked and smeared once again. There is nothing holy or religious about the actions of the Taliban. Stripping young children of their right to education and taking innocent lives is not fighting for the cause of humanity, let alone Islam.

As an Ahmadi Muslim, I find it upsetting when the Taliban use the name of religion and God to further their agenda. How can they call themselves humans while committing such atrocities? The Taliban seeks to destroy everyone who differs from their view and wants to overrun the current governments.
Their aim of destroying the peace of the world is not based around the same religion that is practised by more than 1.6 billion people around the world. The toxic ideology of groups like the Taliban and Islamic State needs to be eradicated at its root before it spreads anywhere else.
