Dear Editor:

The hostage crisis in Australia where a Lone wolf -- Haron Monis, an Iranian-born man known to police -- caused a 17-hour unrest upon the city because of his radicalization. It is unfortunate that we see such examples of violence today attributed to Islam.

In reality Islam promotes peace and condemns violence of all sorts. Especially when it comes to the religious freedom Islam stands at the forefront it says, "There is no compulsion in the matters of religion" (Quran)

There is one group in the Muslims (Ahmadiyya Muslim Community) that is trying its level best to condemn all sorts of violence attributed to Islam and stop ISIS, with the nationwide campaign of "Stop the CrISIS."

It is a campaign to stop the radicalization of Muslim youth by ISIS and to educate the Muslim youth about the peaceful teachings of Islam.
