India: Jalsa Salana commences in Qadian, nearly 6,300 guests from Pakistan in attendence


Maulana Ghori addressed the Jalsa Salana participants reminding everyone that the Hazrat Promised Messiah had several key objectives in mind when the institution of Jalsa Salana was started.

Qadian: The 123rd  International Jalsa Salana Qadian commenced here in Qadian earlier today with the hoisting of the Ahmadiyya Flag “Liwae Ahmadiyyat” at 10 A.M. in Ahmadiyya Ground near Nangal Baghbana Qadian.

The flag was hoisted by Maulana Mohammad Inaam Ghori, Chief Secretary Sadr Anjuman Ahmadiyya Qadian and the representative of the Khalifa of Islam, Hazhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad Khalifa Tul Masih.

On this occasion Jalsa Salana participants raised the slogans “ Islama Zinadabad, Ahmadiat Zindabad”. After the flag hosting ceremony Maulana Mohammad Inaam Ghori led all present in silent prayer in which thousands of Ahmadis joined with him.

The inauguration session was started with the recitation of Holy Quraan.

Maulana Ghori addressed the Jalsa Salana participants reminding everyone that the Hazrat Promised Messiah had several key objectives in mind when the institution of Jalsa Salana was started.

“The primary purpose of this convention is to enable every sincere individual to personally experience religious benefits," Maulana Ghori said quoting the Promised Messiah. "They may enhance their knowledge and due to their being blessed and enabled by Allah. The Exalted their perception (Of Allah) may progress. Among its secondary benefits is that this congregational meeting together will promote mutual introduction among all brothers and it will strengthen the fraternal ties within this community.”

Chief Secretary advised the Jalsa Salana participants to remain engrossed in the remembrance of Allah, invocation of blessings of Allah on the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) and be regular and punctual in congregational five times prayers.

After the inaugural address, Maulana Karim Uddin Shahid delivered a lecture on the topic of “The Existence of God”.


Nearly 6,300 Ahmadiyya Muslims guests have come from Pakistan to attend the congregation in Qadian.

The Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazarat Mirza Masroor Ahmad will address this congregation on 28th  December around 4 PM.

There are thousands of Ahmadi Muslim women also participating the Jalsa Salana and special arrangements have been made for women to listen the Jalsa Salana proceeding on their convention grounds.

Big screens are installed to watch the Jalsa Salana live programs in the Ahmadiyya Ground.

Mr. Shoib Ahmad, Officer Jalsa Salana, said that Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat has made free food and accommodations available to all Jalsa Salana participants.
