India: Special train run between Amritsar-Qadian for Ahmadiyya Jalsa Salana


Thousands of Ahmadiyya Muslim delegates and devotees from different parts of the country and abroad, including 5,500 from Pakistan, are taking part in the conference.

The Ferozepur division of Northern Railway (NR) has introduced a special train between Amritsar and Qadian in Gurdaspur district from today in order to make the Ahmadiyya muslims to take part in the 123rd international conference of the community at Qadian town.

The conference is being organised at International headquarters of Ahmadiyya muslim community at Qadian town in Gurdaspur district from December 26 to 28.

Thousands of Ahmadiyya Muslim delegates and devotees from different parts of the country and abroad, including 5,500 from Pakistan, are taking part in the conference.

A Northern railway spokesperson said the special train will leave from Amritsar at 0900 hrs and reach at Qadian at 1030 hrs and will leave Qadian at 1100 hrs and reach Amritsar 1230 hrs.

Besides, a regular train between Amritsar and Qadian would be continued as per its previous schedule.
